Beverly Hillbillies (1993)

Today marks the anniversary for the movie version of The Beverly Hillbillies. The early 90s had a craze of taking older tv shows and making them into feature length films. Many failed, but this one I still find funny.

Here they are driving in Beverly Hills and stop in front of 701 North Beverly Drive.

Granny stops in front of the house at 1365 South Oakland Avenue in Pasadena, California. This location is best known as the home in the Benson tv series.

The mansion is right across the street at 1288 South Oakland Avenue. They used a couple different gates in the film and this house has been used in many productions, including Fatal Beauty.

They actually did film at the Beverly Hills Police Department at 464 North Rexford Drive.

The exteriors for the Commerce Bank of Beverly Hills was shot at 11766 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Beverly Hills High School was used at the exterior and is located at 241 South Moreno Drive.

This scene ws shot at the corner of Elevado Avenue and North Crescent Drive in Beverly Hills.

I need to get better shots but several scenes were shot on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.

The Barnaby Jones office building is locate at 234 East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, California.

There are a few other spots not presented here including the party mansion at 1400 Tower Grove Drive and some spots used on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

Cloris Leachman and Lea Thompson

The original tv series mansion was located at 750 Bel Air Road. Below is a picture I took during a visit way back in 1985.
